Let's call voting deadline tomorrow by 6 PM. I have class until 9:30, so don't expect a lynch post before 10 PM at absolute earliest.
On nights I have class, it will be late night posts (Tues and Thurs) but on other nights, I will try to have the night posts done by 8 PM.

But the really important question is have we all got our full member?
Anyone want to make some random vs. non-random first vote arguments? I don't remember what we the collective and cumulative town came to on that.

Here's another question I just thought of - is the original walker the only one who can infect people or once someone is infected can they also infect someone? Like if we lynch the original walker but he has already turned at least one person, can that person carry on recruiting more people? I am guessing probably so, and that we will need to kill every zombie in order to stop anymore zombies from being created. But there is so much we don't know!
I am mentally drained just thinking about day one voting and the 1/7 odds of getting the governor or the walker on the first shot. One change to this particular game setup is that there is no mafia btsc yet (or so it appears, since there's only one zombie so far) so there will be no block of carefully-arranged mafia votes to skew the true randomness of the outcome on day one.

Once again...I'm so glad Steph is back I don't see how the first lynch can be anything but random, especially with such crappy odds for the townies to get a bad guy. I'll probably stick with my usual useless strategy of a day 1 revenge vote...

oh man, I feel a bit panic-y thinking of the Zombies multiplying each night.

oh man, I feel a bit panic-y thinking of the Zombies multiplying each night. At least it's only every ODD night, not every night. Of course, that means that someone will be infected on night one unless we get lucky and lynch the walker today. And on the even nights, we have to worry about someone being killed by the governor...

We're on day 1 and I dreamed about mafia last night. I'm just sayin'.

We're on day 1 and I dreamed about mafia last night. I'm just sayin'. Haha! Love it. I haven't dreamed about mafia but I'm studiously watching the show in honor of the game. . My guess was an infected zombie could spread but maybe just the main walker can. It is scary to think that each one could infect a player. They would take us out quickly.

So, we are assuming that townies nightkilled by the walker become walkers. Is it safe to assume that any townie who is lynched will stay dead and not become a walker? I think that would be too much, right? And players killed by the governor also stay dead?

I would guess that once more are infected the zombies would take out one person per odd night as a team, like usual mafia teams. If each person could infect individually the town could be out in just a couple days. Maybe this is something Brooke can clarify...

Michelle, that's my assumption also: while each zombie may be able to infect others, there can only be one infection per odd night, meaning the zombie mafia would have to do decide who does the infecting just like past mafias have had to decide on which member will be performing each murder. I'm speculating and don't know for sure, but it doesn't seem like it would make sense for the zombies to be able to multiply exponentially since there are relatively few players this game. That wouldn't make for a fun game since it'd be over in just a few days.
I think the only two things that make sense are for the original walker to be the only one to do any infecting, or for all walkers to be able to infect, but only one per odd night. And I'm betting on the second option because with the first, we would only have to take out one player (the original walker) to stop the zombie infections. My guess is that Brooke made it a little more challenging for us than that.

If the walker-infected zombies could infect others, that'd be a bit much, no? I iz confuzed.

My thinking is the only people who exit the game are lynched or killed by the governor. The walker makes zombies who become the mafia. Once infected they gain the power to infect but only one person per odd night?

Whatever happens, I'd say we're probably screwed tonight. I'm voting random. I don't want to, because the chances of a random vote killing the governor or the walker are pretty small, but I feel like there's no good way to do it. I feel like I'm a little behind today - sorry! I work from about 9-6 everyday and I've been pretty busy lately.
