RIP, Brooke.
So, part of me is all "let's look at the people who pinged Brooke's radar by saying they were town!"...but I was one of them, and I know I'm not mafia. And that's probably too obvious anyway. So, blah.

Bahahaha blue balls. I have to wonder how they knew blue is my favorite color, and the value meal I buy at Wendy's is a #6. Good job hosts, good job.
Good luck everyone!

Well, it's a day cycle, so time to get this party started.
It seems like in every game at about this point, there's a big discussion about how to vote -- do we vote random because we have no leads, do we follow our guts even if it means votes are scattered, or do we all pile on votes to someone who may or may not be mafia?
Here's my take on it: in the last couple of games, it's seemed to me that everyone voting "as a team" has done more harm than good. The mafia had been very vocal and were able to totally play everyone like fiddles and steer them toward exactly the person they wanted to oust. At the same time, they were able to say that they were voting as a bloc to "support the town" because voting with your gut and splitting votes "hurts us" somehow-- a handy way for them to hide in plain view. This happened like CRAZY in Walking Dead mafia, and Muppet Mafia as well, specifically. I'm sure others too.
I've voted with just my gut for a couple of games. In the Muppet game, in particular, I did gut votes for both Shan and Brooke when no one else was even looking their way, and both ended up being mafia. I'm not saying I'm an especially intuitive person or anything -- I certainly have voted for lots of people who ended up being town, and will probably do so again -- but it just seems like the everyone-vote-together tactic isn't always the best way to go when we don't have any real evidence.
Just my two cents -- I'd love to hear others' thoughts.

And also, Mary -- in some games (especially the crazy-ass games that Sarina and Heather host), weird shit like people-coming-back-from-the-dead can happen. So watch out for BTSC with the dead.

I don't remember voting as a group early in the last games. I thought it generally was random the first two or three votes.

I think split votes hurt just as much as group voting when the game gets going. Last game I think splits hurt the town more than anything else.I don't think there is a safe way to go.
In muppets we had such a large mafia that it really didn't matter. If it was split we piggy backed or went on our own "voting gut". It was east to blend in. We never really had to vote together. I'm scared this will happen again this game with a four person mafia.

Mafia split votes last game also. The times we voted together were when Gabby said she knew Heather was evil and then at the end to win.

DAY 1 Becky: Michelle, 3 Brooke: Stephanie, 4 Steff: Eliza, 5 Mary: Becky, 5 Stephanie: Gabby, 5 Ash: Paige, 5 Michelle: Brandissa, 5 Shan: Kallie, 5 Brandissa: Steff, 5 Joe: Ash, 5 Eliza: Ash, 5 Claire: Nicole, 6 Steph: Eliza, 6 Molly: Joe, 6 Aryn: Katie, 6 Kallie: Steph, 6 Gabby: Ash, 6 Nicole: Molly, 6 Paige: Brooke, 6
I don't have Katie. Did I miss her? So, all I've got to go on so far is voting record. Based on who voted for Ash, I'd be inclined to think that Eliza and Gabby are not mafia. Nobody at that point knew that Ash wasn't going to get lynched. I'd think Joe probably isn't mafia either, but slightly less so, ONLY because mafia could afford to vote for one of their own early on on Day 1 as a throwaway vote to not incriminate themselves later in the game. (I'm not saying you are mafia Joe - I don't have any evidence that you are at this point, I'm just trying to think through all of the possibilities.) That is not to say that any of these three couldn't be an independent (they don't really give a shit who dies), but I doubt I'll be casting a vote for either of those three tonight. I'd rather take out mafia at this point, since we don't know what the independent's abilities are. They may end up benefiting the town if they can join up with us, so I don't want to kill them *yet*. Do we assume Ash is not mafia at this point as well, since nobody was coming to her defense, or attempting to spread out the votes in another direction? That's how I'm leaning at this point. Any other deep thoughts at this point?
