I started reading first, but the show moves at a pretty quick pace and I got into it and couldn't stop.

I don't think it's a big deal. I'm only halfway through book one and have seen all three seasons. The downside is I know what comes next when I read the books. lol

Oh, I love GoT, even though I get done watching it and I feel bad about humanity.

I haven't watched the one everyone was all depressed and up in arms about! We're behind a few episodes. We just watched the one where John reaches the top of the mountain.

My only problem with it is that there are about ten major story arcs and a two hundred characters, and I have a lot of trouble remembering which grizzled middle aged man is which.
