Good morning! Molly is not new slang you old hags.  ;)it has meant MDMA for a long time. I used to go to festivals and people would wander around asking if anyone had seen Molly. LOL Anyway. Molly survived the first lynch in celeb mafia but it wasn't because she had that power she was saved because of the mid kill. Mafia has also missed lynch votes even with BTSC. That said. I doubt Katie was mafia. |

Yay! I thought I was the only chump up this morning. So Michelle tells me now the mafia usually takes this day to kill? Truth? Does it vary by game cuz I don't know why I'd need my brains to just get killed....

Mafia has also missed lynch votes even with BTSC. That said. I doubt Katie was mafia. Remind me again of when this happened. I don't doubt it (we seem to have this conversation every time somebody misses a vote), I just don't remember who or what the circumstances were. I think we can all agree that it's possible, but significantly less likely for mafia to miss votes because of the BTSC, and because now we've got a built-in mod kill feature to avoid the possibility of a mafia member strategically missing a vote. (IT'S GOOD THAT YOU DID THAT AWFUL THING, STEPSISTERS!) |

Mary - if the previous game hosted by these 2 is any indication there will possibly be some kind of riddle or game with a prize today and that could be what the needing your brains reference was for. That was my assumption anyway. But you just never know with these two!!

She wasn't lynched for missing a vote she was given a pass by Brooke. She was lynched because of my detective work! That was my big score that game before I was killed. |

I'm just assuming Katie was mod killed and no special powers were used during the lynch yesterday that affected the outcome. It seems the simplest and most sensible interpretation of events. And I'd like to wait as long as possible before my head starts threatening to explode from confusion.

Day cycles (like yesterday) are days when we choose to lynch people. Generally on day cycles you get to find out the person's role after the lynching. The fact that we didn't find out Katie's role last night indicates to me that this was a mod kill -- not something different like a lynch deflection or other special trickery, but I could be entirely wrong. Night cycles (like today) are days when the mafia chooses someone to kill, and people with special powers can message the mods to use them if they wish (though there may be some people who have powers that can be used during day cycles as well). As a rule, we do NOT find out the roles of the people the mafia kills. Which especially sucks when there are indie roles like there are in this game -- we don't know (and, more than likely, they don't know either -- at least early on) whether they're killing a townie or an indie. |

And yes -- Heather and Sarina had a number of quizzes/scavenger hunts, etc. with useful prizes last time they hosted, so I assumed the same when they noted that brainz would be helpful today ...

Ok quick technical note & question Yesterday I went to the forum after lunch and suddenly I got an error that said the host of the website had blocked my IP address (I was on my phone using safari as I always do). After much research in the help it appeared it was a browser issue so I downloaded google chrome and was able to access the site. Just a note in case it happens to anyone else. I don't like the functionality in google chrome so I downloaded the app finally. Is there any way to stay logged in for those of you that use the proboards app? I can't handle having to log in every time. ok back to game play  |
